We can help you find a job, represent your firm and connect you to the construction industry.
Become a MemberThe Workforce Development Construction Committee develops programming for entry-level and incumbent workforce craft training, management/superintendent training and other construction training needed on our members’ job sites.
We provide the largest state sponsorship for the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). NCCER offers accredited, world-class craft training and management training materials. Training is based on competency and set up in a modular system to meet the diverse needs of the construction industry. When employees finish their training, they receive a completion credential that is incorporated into a national database for future reference.
AGC of Kansas works with 125 high schools, community colleges and vocational technical partners with nearly 4,000 students in NCCER training. In addition, nearly 200 instructors in Kansas are certified to teach NCCER curriculum.
AGC of Kansas offers management, superintendent and crew leader training programs throughout the year. Contact us for scheduling.
AGC’s HR Platform (powered by Arcoro) provides AGC members free access to posting job openings (by craft and by city). The job postings are linked to ten of the largest job boards (i.e., Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.) and are also linked to over 150 Kansas High Schools/Community College Construction Trade Programs.
